The photographic exhibition “All the hours in the world”, staged by Bracco Foundation and Associazione La Rotonda, highlights diversity starting from infancy and tells of the universal concepts of relationship and care through the work of the great photographer Gerald Bruneau that depicts the daily life of 12 Italian and multi-ethnic families in Baranzate.

The exhibition is in Milan, at the CDI - Centro Diagnostico Italiano in via Saint Bon 20, from January 29 to December 31, 2020. The inauguration is on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 6:30 PM.
The series of photographs traces an ideal day long trip in one of the most multiethnic municipalities in Italy: here the different culinary traditions, original languages and faiths not just cultural elements of each ethnic nucleus but become identifying routes of a plural place.
The exhibition is part of the “Kiriku -A school for inclusion” project to combat lack of education and offers, respecting the unities of time, place and action, an itinerary in which the code is intimacy, warmth and detail. The countries we visit in 24-hours are Ecuador, Italy, Morocco, Peru, Romania, Salvador, Senegal, Somalia and Sri Lanka.
At the centre of these families without frontiers other children. They are the leading players in the small actions that make up the account, drawn from interviews: from waking up to sleep, from play to school. Thanks to these little “Kiriku” we discover the life of the community: on tiptoe we crossed the threshold to their houses, we are invited to table, we take part in their games and together learn something about what it means to live in a country that contains many others. “All the hours in the world” tells of the relationship between children and parents and the language of caring with the desire to offer a stimulus, perhaps an intuition on living together. For this reason, during this voyage for every action there is a dialogue between portraits of two families of different origins, equal and different, in the certainty that cultures are always bearers of values and awareness for societies that are able to welcome them.
The exhibition is housed in the CDI - Centro Diagnostico Italiano (via Saint Bon 20, Milan). The cycle of exhibitions started in 2010 in collaboration with the CDI is renewed every year in the conviction, supported by scientific evidence, that exposure to art and culture helps an overall improvement in the quality of life, with the complementary objective of promoting growing talents.
