Who are we? Story of the many differences that make us the sameThe appointment is for February 11 in the Teatrino di via Cino del Duca for the opening of the third edition of the third cycle of “Bracco Foundation Meets”.
Four meetings are being held with reference to the forthcoming theme of discussion at Expo Milano 2015, namely "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.” This is the common thread of discussion running through the events organized in connection with the 2013 edition of "Fondazione Bracco Incontra".On stage at the “Teatrino” on Via Cino del Duca are the personages from the second edition who will be discussing important topics and methodologies: Maria Benedetta Donati and Massimo Montanari consider the Mediterranean diet from a gastronomic and cultural perspective; Andrea Segrè and Andrea Giussani debate the urgent question of food waste; and Cinzia Scaffidi and Luigi Mariani discuss agriculture with reference to history, innovation and sustainability.
The final meeting in the second cycle of the "Fondazione Bracco Incontra" returns to the theme of the first, as Antonio and Acerbo and Tiziana Gibelli conduct an in-depth analysis of the Vie d’Acqua (Waterways) project of Milan and talk about Da Vinci’s masterful designs for the city's canals.
A veritable laboratory of ideas for and about the city, this project also encourages us to interrogate our present, and, by so doing, to remain vigilant about the future.
