- Cycle of exhibitions at the Italian Diagnostic Centre – Year 2013
2013
The partnership between the foundation and the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in 2013, as part of the series of exhibitions in collaboration with the CDI - Italian Diagnostic Centre, set up two different and particularly significant exhibition itineraries. From July to October, through forty evocative images, on loan from the Photographic archive and the La Scala Theatre Museum, the history of the Ballet School of the Accademia La Scala is told by its most famous protagonists, to celebrate an important anniversary: its first 200 years, from 1813 to 2013.Verdi's year would not be the same without a tribute to the great composer and his works, so, from December the corridors of the Italian Diagnostic Centre played host to the heroines of Verdi, in a genuine "collective" exhibition: the students of tailoring and still photography from the academy gave life to the famous protagonists in meticulous reconstructions of period mannequins and costumes. The project of the series of exhibitions in collaboration with the Italian Diagnostic Centre (CDI) was opened in 2010 and intends to offer the opportunity to young art students to exhibit their creations, and, simultaneously giving the opportunity to the staff and visitors of the Centre to benefit from the cultural experience, in the conviction that this contributes to the overall improvement of quality of life.
