- Cycle of exhibitions at the Italian Diagnostic Centre – Year 2014
2014
The partnership with the Accademia Teatro alla Scala continues, which, as part of the cycle of exhibitions in collaboration with the CDI - Italian Diagnostic Centre, in 2014 culminated in two exhibition itineraries.
From May to October the exhibition "Andiamo all'Opera! Come si costruisce uno spettacolo" (Let's go to the Opera! How to build a show) recounts in about 40 images, divided into five sections, how an idea takes shape, up to becoming an actual show: from the construction of the scenes to the designing of the costumes, from rehearsals until the debut on stage.
From 15th December 2014 at the CDI spaces arrives the exhibition "Giorgio Strehler. Un uomo per Milano, un teatro per l'europa" (A man for Milan, a theatre for Europe), which tells, through stunning photos, the path of this key figure of the short twentieth century: from the most famous directors, to behind the scenes, the relationship with other characters who addressed the cultural history of the period, such as Brecht and Toscanini.
The project of the series of exhibitions in collaboration with the Italian Diagnostic Centre (CDI) was opened in 2010 and intends to offer the opportunity to young art students to exhibit their creations, and, simultaneously giving the opportunity to the staff and visitors of the Centre to benefit from the cultural experience, in the conviction that this contributes to the overall improvement of quality of life.
