- Bracco Foundation meets 2016 cycle – voyages in liberty through classical music
06.11.2018 - 05.03.2019
In 2016 the Bracco Foundation in collaboration with the La Scala Theatre Academy organised a cycle of four encounters dedicated to classical music and conducted by M° Fabio Sartorelli, lecturer in the history of music at the Como “G. Verdi” Conservatory and a lecturer in guided listening at the Milan La Scala Theatre Academy.
The appointments are aimed at young people, enthusiasts and others, and will offer an unusual exploration of symphonic, opera and ballet music. In an original and involving excursus, Sartorelli ranges from Franz Joseph Haydn to Giuseppe Verdi, from the romantic Giselle to the controversial protagonists of the operas of Puccini.
The aims of the cycle are to bring the nonspecialist public closer to the world of classical music, promoting its universal value and contemporaneity, while surprising the more informed members of the audience with an original and anecdotal approach.
The encounters will be held in the Teatrino di Palazzo Visconti, in via Cino del Duca 8 in Milan, headquarters of the Bracco Foundation. The Teatrino is open to the public for the encounters and conferences that the foundation organises during the multi-year cycle “Bracco Foundation meets”.
