On Saturday, 24 January 2024, the Audiovisual Napoli Hub project was launched, offering free training and a programme of integration for young people not in education, employment, or training (“NEETs”) who also come from backgrounds at risk of social, cultural, and economic marginalization.
In 2023, Fondazione Bracco will be continuing to sponsor, in collaboration with Accademia Teatro alla Scala, a series of lectures on classical music. The lecturer is Fabio Sartorelli, musician and professor of History of Music at Conservatorio “G. Verdi” in Milan, who also teaches a “Guide to Listening” course at Accademia Teatro alla Scala.
In September 2022, as part of its ongoing long-term collaboration with Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Fondazione Bracco was the Main Partner for the production of The Secret Marriage, an “opera buffa” by the composer Domenico Cimarosa. Each year, the Academy of La Scala runs a project (Progetto Accademia) for the staging of a work by its young students that La Scala then includes in its main season.
In 2012, Fondazione Bracco became a Founding Member and Main Partner of Accademia Teatro alla Scala, one of the most prestigious music and theatre schools in the world.
In 2020- 2021, Fondazione Bracco will be continuing to sponsor, in collaboration with Accademia alla Scala, a series of lessons on classical music by Maestro Fabio Sartorelli.
Also in 2018 - 2019 Bracco Foundation in collaboration with the La Scala Theatre Academy organised a cycle of encounters dedicated to classical music, conducted by M° Fabio Sartorelli.
In 2015, Fondazione Bracco produced Cinderella, a new ballet that borrows its famous title from the dance repertoire of Scuola di Ballo di Accademia Teatro alla Scala (the Academy’s ballet school). The production was based on music by Sergei Prokofiev, with choreography by the Director of the School of Ballet, Frédéric Olivieri. The show opened the season of Piccolo Teatro, and was part of the 2015 “Expo in Città” programme of events. The show then went on the road and was staged in many theatres in Italy and abroad.
Fondazione Bracco is delighted to have been the institutional partner for the tenth edition of the Piano City Festival, a celebration of musical culture held in Milan in June 2021, and in Palermo in September of the same year.
In 2016 the Bracco Foundation in collaboration with the La Scala Theatre Academy organised a cycle of four encounters dedicated to classical music and conducted by M° Fabio Sartorelli, lecturer in the history of music at the Como “G. Verdi” Conservatory and a lecturer in guided listening at the Milan La Scala Theatre Academy.
