For children: a charter of health rights

Bracco Foundation is taking part in the Days of Health of the Municipality of Milan, an occasion dedicated to citizens to promote health culture now in its third edition.

The appointment “For children: a charter of health rights”, which will be held on Thursday, June 5 from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Rotonda della Besana, will be dedicated to the promotion of children’s rights.

Speakers will be the councillor Pierfrancesco Majorino, G. Landonio (Municipality of Milan), P. Zerbi (Carthusia), A. Gamba (LILT), V. Carnelli (Associaizone ABIO), G. Bernini (Bracco Foundation), M. Colamasi (Bracco Spa), V. Marcassa (School Director), I.P. Quartieri (Milan Councillor), A. Costantino (Policlinico Foundation), L. Anzideo (Save the children Italia), Suor A. Villa (Opera di San Francesco), plus an account from the students of the Istituto Commerciale Borsi.

The intervention by Gaela Bernini, Head of Scientific and Social Projects at the Bracco Foundation, entitled “Role of the environment and art in caring for children”, is part of the “Culture and Health” project in which the Foundation has been engaged since 2011 and which has so far offered several occasions for in-depth reports. The aim is to evaluate the impact of cultural participation, in its widest meaning on the psychological well-being of the individual. The concept is that culture contributes to improving the quality-of-life, with particular attention to care structures.
