Press conference to announce of the restoration of Pope Alexander VII gallery at the palazzo del Quirinale

On April 5 , 2011 at 10:00am at the Historical Archive of the Presidency of the Italian Republic a press conference will present the restoration project of the Galleryof Alexander VII Chigi in the Palazzo del Quirinale.

Bracco Foundation supports the restoration project aimed at bringing back to its original aspect the Gallery of Pope Chigi with a architectural and paintings restoration project inside the official residence of the President of the Italian Republic.

Speakers: Donato Marra - General Secretary of the Presidency of the Republic, Elio Berarducci - Director of the Office of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, Louis Godart - Director for Conservation of Art Heritage of the President of the Republic, Diana Bracco - President of the Bracco Foundation and Rossella Vodret - Special Superintendent for the Historical, Artistic and Ethno-anthropological Heritage and for the Museums of the City of Rome.

The work, carried out by the Superintendency of Rome in agreement with Prof. Louis Godart , is scheduled to be finished in autumn 2011.
