Torviscosa is an example of positive osmosis between industry, the local area and the environment, where 14 years ago the Bracco Group recovered a part of the historic industrial site of SNIA Viscosa dating back to the 1930s in order to house SPIN, one of its most technologically sophisticated production facilities.In order to forge closer and closer ties with the local area, the Bracco Foundation and Spin collaborated with the City Council of Torviscosa on the digitisation of the Historical Archives SNIA, which represented a milestone for Italian social and economic history, as a genuine "new town" complete with residential buildings and all the services a community would need was built around the factory. The digitisation of architectural drawings and historical photos, documenting all that creative fervour, will create a lasting memory of the impressive work undertaken.The impressive archive, now open to the public, consists of over 2,000 drawings, 7,700 photographic sheets and 1,200 negatives from photographic film. A "sample" of this heritage is presented in the exhibition "Labor omnia vincit", inaugurated on 30th April and open until 2nd October 2016 in the space of the CID of Torviscosa, accompanied by the backstage of work in progress, in order to show everyone how much care and attention is required to carry out the preservation and keep our past alive.On the 15th July 2016, to celebrate the end of the digitisation project, the Bracco Foundation organised a free concert for the city of Torviscosa with the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala conducted by Maestro Pietro Mianiti.
