Presentation of “A life in sports”, showcasing the findings of a study into the portrayal of women in sport

In view of the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Milan-Cortina and coinciding with the month dedicated to women's rights, on Wednesday 19 February at Palazzo Marino in Milan, the Bracco Foundation, in partnership with the Municipality of Milan, Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 and the International Olympic Committee, presented the results of the first national-level study of the media coverage of the Paris 2024 Games from a gender perspective, which was accompanied by a photographic exhibition featuring women champions and experts from the world of sports.

A gender perspective on the upcoming US presidential election

In connection with the project #100esperte centred on women experts across a range of fields, the Order of Journalists of Lombardy, ISPI and the Bracco Foundation are organizing a seminar for journalists on the US presidential election that is also open to members of the public.

Symposium for journalists: “Towards the Equality Olympics”

On Wednesday 3 July 2024, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano (“Cattolica”University) hosts "Towards the Equality Olympics", a symposium dedicated to the theme of equal opportunities in sports journalism, which is highly topical in view of the imminent Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, in which, for the first time, an equal number of male and female athletes will participate: 5,250.

Concert by the young pianist Antonio Alessandri at the Milan Conservatory

On Saturday 6 April, at 8.30 pm in Sala Puccini, a hall in the Conservatorio Verdi [Verdi Conservatory] of Milan, pianist Antonio Alessandri will be giving a recital. Alessandri, who has just turned eighteen, is the winner of the "Diventerò” special prize that the Bracco Foundation awards to exceptional young talents. He received his prize in October 2023 at the 33rd edition of the Ettore Pozzoli Piano Competition, in which he was the youngest finalist.

Mind the STEM Gap-Together. Intergenerational dialogues on science
