Diana Bracco, President of the Bracco Foundation, on the explicit invitation of President Victoria P. Sant of the NGA, has joined the Trustees' Council of the museum, the only non-American member of this prestige body. The important partnership that links Bracco with the famous museum found expression in two recent and important collaborations: in 2006 with the exhibition celebrating the Renaissance art of Bellini, Giorgione and Titian, and this year, also on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Italian Unification, with the exhibition “Venice: Canaletto and his rivals” which enjoyed considerable success.
The invitation to Diana Bracco is an important recognition of what has been done in terms of the commitment to supporting and spreading culture and art.
