On Tuesday, May 26, at the CDI- Centro Diagnostico Italiano in via Saint Bon 20, is the opening of the exhibition “The role of talent. The crafts of art. Italian know-how”, organised by Bracco Foundation and the Cologni Foundation of artistic crafts for the six months of Expo.

68 splendid shots by Milanese photographer Laila Pozzo illustrates 17 Italian schools of high craftsmanship, where the maestros of tomorrow study and work: places where young people learn the rule of talent and the method, but also the taste and passion for a sector for which Italy is known worldwide and from which design and fashion have drawn their life’s blood.

From the mosaic school in Fruili to the Murano glass working school, the Vigonza footwear Polytechnic, the lute making school in Cremona, the Scandicci leatherworking school, and the famous restoration schools of the Florence Opificio delle pietre dure, the Rome and Venaria Reale restoration schools…

Artistic craftsmanship, talent, passion, tradition but also job and career possibilities for the new generations; this is why Bracco Foundation is involved.
