"We are pleased to present right here at the Positive Economy Forum being held in San Patrignano this initiative dedicated to the circular economy, a model in which business and the environment go hand in hand - declares Diana Bracco, President of the Bracco Foundation - We need an economy capable of being able to regenerate itself, a system in which all activities, right from extraction and production, are organised so that everything can be transformed into a resource for someone else. An economy that is geared towards innovation and products that last longer and which are made in the most efficient way possible. In short - adds Diana Bracco - I believe that the circular economy is a candidate to become the "positive" response to decrease: instead of producing and consuming less, we should produce and consume better, done in a way to ensure that growth is no longer an enemy or an alternative to safeguarding the planet".

The call Start-up Circular Economy rewards three start-ups with a non-repayable grant in order to cover the expenses of setting up the company and one year of incubation for each start-up at Speed MI Up, the incubator of Bocconi University and the Milan Chamber of Commerce including education services, tutoring and consultancy.
