On the occasion of the 7th World Meeting of Families, the CDI - Italian Diagnostic Centre (Via Saint Bon, 20 - Milan) hosted the exhibition "Family work of art - 100 linear metres x 8 set designers", promoted by the Bracco Foundation in collaboration with the Accademia Teatro alla Scala and CDI.

The exhibition "Family work of art - 100 linear metres x 8 set designers" displayed the results of the artistic research on the theme of the family undertaken by young set designers of the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala. As part of the worldwide celebration of the importance of the family unit, which saw Milan as the global centre in 2012, the work developed by young set designers was intended to symbolically represent the concept of the family through the representation of intimate suggestions in extraordinary creative expression using different techniques. The initiative represented the third round of a comprehensive project, inaugurated in November 2010 with the photo exhibition "The performance of the body" and updated in September 2011 with the exhibition "Objectively better - Taking care of yourself: ideas for a greater well-being", aimed at providing, within the spaces at the CDI, an opportunity for creative expression for students from Milan's main art and design schools.
